Since 2015, Fired Up Pizza has been dedicated to bringing fast and healthy pizza to the local community. But did you know that brick oven pizzas are the healthier choice for you and your family?
How Brick Oven Pizzas Are Better Than Conventional Oven Pizzas
Conventional ovens are not able to reach the same temperatures that brick ovens can. In a brick oven, heat radiates and spreads around the oven. This heat is absorbed by the brick interior while the oven floor remains slightly cooler, making for the perfect crust without overcooked toppings. Our brick oven can reach 700 degrees Fahrenheit and, because heat is stored in the walls, can bake your pizza in only 3 ½ minutes.
The Toppings Matter
The oven heat makes the pizza toppings crispier than a conventional oven while boosting the overall flavor. Because of how quick brick oven pizzas are produced, the vegetable toppings don’t lose their vitamins and other nutrients during the process. Longer cook times in conventional ovens can diminish a pizza’s nutritional value, so sticking with brick oven pizzas is the healthier choice for you and your family. At Fired Up Pizza, our pizzas are never frozen and we also offer gluten-free dough for those who have food intolerances and/or allergies.
Efficient and Economical
Brick oven pizzas are also economical as well as efficient. These ovens make it easier for multiple pizzas to be cooked at once and during a shorter period of time.
All of the above make it easier for us to better serve our community and their needs. We strive for everyone to have the best experience possible with our pizza, and we never want our customers to walk away hungry.
